La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is available. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Ontario County, New York

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at our meetings. Our services include a lending library, up-to-date information, the sale of books, and the opportunity to share parenting with other mothers.

Thank you for bringing a simple snack or juice to share.

Meetings will be canceled if local schools are closed due to bad weather.

Meeting Information

Meetings are:

  • the third Thursday evening of the month.
    Gathering: 6:30pm. Meeting begins: 7:00pm.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.

Leaders are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns. Please include the word "breastfeeding" on the subject line of your emails so that we can prioritize our response to you.
