La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help.
Membership in La Leche League is $40 for one year. The membership fee helps support local Groups, our Area, and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

in Manhattan
A continuing series of informal discussion meetings are offered and are open to all women interested in breastfeeding. Children of all ages are welcome.
Special meetings for mothers of toddlers, mothers of twins and working mothers offer a chance to focus on your specific needs.
1st Meeting: Advantages of breastfeeding (January/MaySeptember)
2nd Meeting: The birth of your baby and baby's
first weeks (February/June/October)
3rd Meeting: The art of breastfeeding and dealing
