LLL of Illinois

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $35 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. No membership is required to attend meetings and recieve assistance.

You can also join online at LLL of Illinois. Please select "Springfield" group to properly credit your membership.

La Leche League of Springfield, Illinois

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help and/or meeting information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

No monthly meetings are scheduled for Jan.-April 2012.
Please look for another meeting in a nearby town or contact LLL Leader Leslie Groth

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

The Springfield group is not able to stock the book "Womanly Art of Breastfeeding". You may order online from La Leche League International or check out your local bookstore.


The Springfield group does not have breast pumps to rent or sell. Please check with your local pharmacy or health care provider.
