La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help and/or meeting information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
Meetings are held in January 2010 on Jan 8th, but are usually on the first Friday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at the Schaumburg Library, in the N. Rassmussen Rm.:

November 2009 meeting will be in the Elk Grove Village Library in the front meeting room 9:30-11:30. The address is 1001 Wellington Ave Elk Grove Vlg, IL 60007-3389 (847) 439-0447.There are also Toddler Meetings on the fourth Monday from 10-11:30 a.m. Please call for meeting location information.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
