LLL of Illinois

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League of Illinois is $35 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization.

La Leche League of Rockford, Illinois

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help and/or meeting information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Rockford meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. We meet at the Rockton Centre Branch of the Rockford Public Library, 3112 N Rockton Ave; Rockford, IL 61103.
We have a private room in the back of the library with fun toys and activities to keep your children entertained. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

LLL of Rockford has an online forum for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Anyone wishing to receive an invite to the Yahoo Group, can email the group at LLLofRockford@yahoo.com

LLL of Rockford also offers a monthly playgroup for older babies and nursing toddlers. Our location changes monthly, please contact Jennifer for more information.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
