La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.
La Leche League of Rockford AM, Illinois
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help and/or meeting information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Rockford AM meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at the First Evangelical Free Church. The address is the corner of Spring Creek and Mulford Roads. Go to Room 245 (Faithful Fish) and use the Mulford Road entrance.
There is also a toddler meeting on the first Tuesday of every month, same time, same place.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
