La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help and/or meeting information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Rockford AM meets the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. We meet at Meg's Daily Grind located at 1141 N Alpine Road in Rockford, in the strip mall at the corner of Alpine and Guilford Roads. Join us for coffee and conversation. (No purchase is necessary to attend the meeting.) In arms babies and nursing toddlers are always welcome to accompany their mothers! Since this is a public meeting space, please bring quiet toys and activities to keep your child entertained.
LLL of Rockford AM has an online forum for moms nursing toddlers. Anyone wishing to receive an invite to the Yahoo Group, can email the group at lllofrockford@yahoo.com
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
