La Leche League of Mystic Valley Connecticut

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Expectant or nursing mothers are welcome to come to our meetings. Membership in La Leche League is $40 for one year. The membership fee helps support local Groups, the Connecticut Area and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

Breastfeeding support and information through:

  • Mother-to-Mother support.
  • Monthly meetings.
  • Telephone help from experienced Leaders.
  • Lending library and information sheets.
  • Special couples and toddlers meetings.
  • NEW BEGINNINGS, a bimonthly journal for parents.

    Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 10am at Coastal Chiropractic and Family Wellness Center- 23 Clara Drive, Mystic.
