La Leche League of Cheshire/Meridan.Wallingford, Connecticut
La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help.
Membership in La Leche League is $40 for one year. The membership fee helps support local Groups, our Area, and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.
Meetings in CheshireOur continuing series of informal discussion meetings is open to all women interested in breastfeeding. Pregnant moms, babies and children are always welcome.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30am in room 10 at the First Congregational Church of Cheshire, on the green.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. La Leche League Leaders are available for phone calls regarding meeting information and whenever you have breastfeeding questions that cannot wait until the next meeting.
