La Leche League of Greater Bridgeport, Connecticut
La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
La Leche League of Greater Bridgeport, Connecticut offers support and information through:
- Mother to Mother Support
- Monthly Meetings
- Telephone Help from Accredited Leaders
- Lending Library (books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects)
All pregnant and nursing mothers are encouraged to come to our meetings. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at the meetings. Membership in LLL is available for $40 per year. Membership benefits include subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS, LLL's bimonthly parenting magazine.
Meeting Information
The Greater Bridgeport group meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. (unless that falls on a major holiday). Our meetings are at the Lakewood Trumbull, YMCA at 20 Trefoil Drive, Trumbull.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. For breastfeeding support or additional meeting information, contact:
