La Leche League of Central Aurora
All breastfeeding mothers, mothers-to-be, and non-pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. We encourage pregnant mothers-to-be to attend meetings even before their babies are born. Although we rotate through a series of topics, we present topics differently each time we meet and focus on the needs of the mothers in attendance each month. Children of all ages are welcome at our meetings. All questions are welcomed at each meeting, regardless of the topic presented. We always save time at the meeting to address any questions or concerns.
Meeting information
LLL of Aurora Central AM meets on the third Monday of each month at 10 A .M. in the Youth Room (directly across from the main entrance doors) at the Burns Memorial United Methodist Church located at 1095 Newark Street in Aurora. The church is located between 10th and 11th and Moline and Newark St. The main entrance is off of Newark Street. Ample parking is available on either side of the church. Please note that we are not affiliated with this or any church, but just appreciate the use of the space for our meetings.
Accommodations: Our Group offers a collection of toys safe for infants and toddlers. Snacks are also provided at each meeting.

Meeting 3: The Art of Breastfeeding & Avoiding Difficulties (March, July, November)
Meeting 4: Breastfeeding and Beyond: Nutrition and weaning (April, August, December)

Leader information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
